The Regency benches are a series of three stainless steel benches installed in a park behind the Tate Britain Gallery in London. The project was a collaboration between Julian and year 6 students from the nearby Millbank School. The forms were created as a response to the undulating nature of the site, and consist of a series of steel triangles that reflect the changing light and atmospheric conditions in the park. In a series of workshops with a sculptor, a painter and a poet, year 6 students from Millbank Primary School were encouraged to create their own responses to the site by looking at its historical and social context.
